About Anna
Anna Mook (she/her) is an actor who grew up in dance and choir before training in musical theater at San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts. As an acting and directing student at UCLA she has had the opportunity to explore site-specific directing work, new play development, voice-acting, as well as her love for Shakespeare and musicals. Her roles while at UCLA range from 6-year-old John in Fun Home, the power-hungry Regan in King Lear, bold and pining Lorene in The Time of Your Life, and most recently the bubbly Voyager 1 in a musical workshop of The Golden Record. Anna also has on-camera experience acting in UCLA students’ thesis films and scenework. Formerly a teaching artist intern for Seattle Children’s Theater, Anna is also a theater educator passionate about arts accessibility and empowering the next generation of performers and creators to harness their own confidence and storytelling.
